Brand new Multi-Purpose Hall for 海角社区
海角社区 community celebrated the official opening of its $7.8 million Multi-Purpose Hall on Thursday 20 October. The official opening was not only an occasion to celebrate the new building but also reflect on the vision and determination to make it happen, and how far the College has come since it opened in 2005. 鈥淥ur story is 18 years old this year and to have such a magnificent facility where we can meet as a whole community, have additional teaching spaces, share in celebrations鈥�
TLC Mooting Team win the UniSQ Secondary Schools Moot Competition
Our TLC Mooting Team (Molly T, Octavia C and Carys L) won the UniSQ Secondary Schools Moot Competition for 2022, overcoming Fairholme College in the grand final at the Ipswich Magistrates Court before District Court Judge, His Honour Judge Alexander Horneman-Wren SC; District Court Judge, His Honour Judge Ian Dearden and UniSQ Head of School, Law and Justice, Professor Reid Mortensen. Not only was the team victorious, but Octavia was regarded as the best single advocate of the Grand Final. Each鈥�
海角社区 named top NAPLAN performer in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9
The first NAPLAN results published in two years have revealed some big winners and some familiar names across Moreton鈥檚 primary and secondary schools. Scooping the pool this year was 海角社区 in North Lakes, which was the top performer in Years 3 and 5 and also in Years 7 and 9.
